Bathrooms and Tiles

For a long time now, tiles have been largely associated with the bathroom. Long before tiles were installed in any part of the house, the bathroom was the only area where you can find tiles installed around it. This is the case because tiles are easy to clean and maintain which is what we want for a bathroom wall and floor. Aside from that, the different designs available for bathroom tiles have made it possible to add a more personal touch in the bathroom.

In choosing bathroom tiles, make sure to select the color that suits your home and your taste well. If you love darker shades and your bathroom is spacious enough, you can choose shades of maroon, dark blue, or brown for bathroom tiles. But if you have a small bathroom and you want it visually expand, use light-colored bathroom tiles. White bathroom tiles are classic yet you can also opt to use cream, sky blue, baby pink, or light green if you wish to try on other colors.

Keep in mind to maintain harmony in the design of your bathroom. The color of the other elements of your bathroom such as cabinets, shower curtains, rugs, bathtub, and other accessories should complement with the color of your bathroom tiles.

Texture is also an important consideration in choosing bathroom tiles. You should try to find bathroom tiles that are not very slippery to avoid accidents in this area. Also, try to obtain designs that do not have too much detail since this will only be a place where dirt can accumulate. Lastly, the texture of your bathroom tiles should be as smooth as possible to avoid getting cut on rough edges.
